Post-GDPR and other privacy programs, contact fields for natural persons are often redacted and replaced with privacy service emails. Why is Registrant email hidden?
ICANN and local law encourage minimization. Some TLDs still show org contacts. If you need legal service, use approved disclosure processes, not guesswork from old cached WHOIS.
Is WHOIS the same as DNS?
No. WHOIS is registration business data. DNS is live resolution. They should align on nameservers but can diverge during attacks or partial updates.
What do status codes mean?
