Date to Unix Timestamp
Encoding wall-clock moments
Pick a civil date/time plus timezone and receive the epoch-seconds integer databases expect. The classic bug is choosing "midnight" in one zone while teammates assume UTC—always label the zone in tickets. DST transitions can produce skipped or repeated local times; libraries resolve ambiguity differently than humans.
When to use it
Seeding cache TTL math, building JWT test fixtures, or aligning cron schedules across regions. Decode results with Unix Timestamp to Date before pasting into production configs.
